Hurricane Franklin, which made landfall in Bermuda as a Category 3 hurricane on August 28, 2023, sent a swell of waves to the Florida coast on August 29. The waves, which were up to 10 feet high in some places, were a welcome sight for surfers, who took to the water to enjoy the conditions.
